I was born and raised in Maryland on the Eastern shore. I graduated in the class of 1984. My senior year I took a little rendering drawing, watercolors, painting, and graphic art design. I also learn how to run various printing press machines. Shortly after I graduated I had my 1st child at 19. Had to seek employment to support myself and my family. Where i started at Campbell soup factory for 2 years. I later moved to New Castle Delaware where I joined the labor union and was a member for 6 years. Later I joined the insulators union at 29 years old and became a skilled journeyman, after completing a 4yr apprenticeship. After 30yrs in this trade Im looking foward to retirement, so I can concentrate on my passion as a artist. My subjects are primarily, the struggles we overcome and still overcoming. I think its very important for us black people to know a little bit about our black enriched culture, and be able to control our narrative. Our heritage&black culture is  so powerful. Im not a good public speaker or orator, but im great at convey messages in my subjects, to create dialog and discord. As the old saying, theirs a thousands words in a picture.
